Ferret City Shelter & Rescue is a shelter dedicated to ferrets. Ferrets are placed with us from individuals who can no longer care for them, public and private humane societies and shelters that are unfamiliar with ferrets or are not equipped to house and care for them. Ferret City Shelter & Rescue is a "no kill" shelter. No ferret is put down unless it becomes medically necessary to do so. Any ferret that enters through our facility receives medical care if needed. NO ferret is turned down despite age, condition, temperment or health.
We have ferrets for adoption on a regular basis. We have all different colors, ages, and personalities. All ferrets are ADV tested (Aleutians Disease Virus), AVID micro-chipped, and vaccinated. All of our ferrets come with a health record and a packet of information on health care, trainning, and tips about your new ferret. Anyone who is interested in adopting or looking for a new someone to highlight their life, we have many ferrets who are in need of a good, stable, loving homes.
